Stocking now at Save on Laptops is the Acer Iconia Tablet A200. This tablet is one of the first Android tablets that will have the latest version of the operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich. The A200 has been firmly designed with those that are new to using tablets and is available in the colour of charcoal grey. It weighs in at 720g and measures 12.4mm in thickness.
The display screen for this tablet is set at 10-inches, which has multi-touch capabilities and a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels and is the same resolution as use for A500 and the upcoming A510 tablet. The screen is sleek and responds well to your touch and has great brightness levels as well.
It is powered by an 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and is capable of handling tasks you throw at it whether you are using it for browsing the web or watching videos. In terms of storage, it will have 8GB of internal memory but this can be extended further by adding in 32GB microSD card.
It has a 2-megapixel front facing camera, which is perfect for making videos calls using applications such as Skype enabling you to keep in contact with friends and family. In addition, it has Bluetooth 2.1, 1x USB 2.0 and 1x Micro USB 2.0 port for transferring data between the tablet and other devices such as your desktop computer. With the built in Wi-Fi, you can connect the tablet to the internet to view your favourite websites and streaming online videos from sites such as YouTube.
