 Samsung announce Series 7 notebook
Samsung have revealed their new Series 7 notebook, the 700Z, which is also known as the Chronos. This top-rate laptop has been developed for users who want portability without losing any of the performance. The laptop chassis has been designed with a brushed metallic finish that offers up a 15.6-inch display screen with a HD resolution of 1600 by 900. It also has an anti-glare and 300nit brightness.

HP to depart the PC and tablet business
 HP have announced they are to exit the PC making, tablet and mobile phone business and will refocus on producing more software lines as they have agreed to buy UK software company Autonomy for £7.1 billion.
It also revealed that it would terminate its webOS services that had been used in their tablets and smartphone devices. This announcement follows a U-turn for Hewlett Packard, as recently as March 2011, they had said their webOS services would be integrate into all of its future hardware.

 Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Europe
A German court this week told Samsung that it is banned from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in shops across Europe, which includes the United Kingdom. This has come about through Apple being granted a temporary injunction on the company. The judge who oversaw the case agreed that Samsung have infringed upon Apple’s patents. This temporary injunction can be appealed by Samsung but they will have to wait at least four weeks for the case to be heard.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 was launched last week in Britain and was becoming the best-selling tablet device since the release of the iPad 2. Many retailers can still sell the stock they had before the temporary injunction was given but they will not be able to order any more stock.
