Samsung NC110 Netbook
Save on Laptops is the Samsung NC110 netbook. This netbook is the successor to the popular NC10 machine as it offers plenty of features that includes a dual-core processor.
The NC110 has a smart design with its glossy finish on the laptop lid and from the side angle, it has curved outline making it stand out. The netbook features a dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor that runs at a clock speed of 1.5GHz. Everyday computing tasks such as browsing the web and running Office applications is handled well by the netbook.
The display screen is 10.1 inches and has a pixel resolution of 1024 by 768. The viewing angles are very wide, so you will not be needed to adjust the screen settings as the screen displays bright and vibrant colours. There is a 'island style' keyboard with equal amount of space between each key. It is very responsive and comfortable for touch-typing. The touch pad is three inches across and provides ample room to move the cursor from one part of the screen to the other.
There is 250GB of HDD storage, providing plenty of room to store documents and media files such as music, movies and photos. This machine has 1GB of RAM memory.
In addition, the NC110 Wi-Fi built in and is using the standard wireless configuration of 802.11 b/g/n. Alternatively, you can use the Ethernet jack instead. There is three USB 2.0 ports with one of these ports supporting 'sleep and charge', which allows you to charge devices such as cameras when the laptop is turned off.
The battery life of the netbook is between 4 and 5 hours before it will to be charged up again. The Samsung RV511 comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition installed.
