Sony Vaio S Series 13

Save on Laptops is now stocking the Sony Vaio S Series 13. These laptops are great for professionals looking for power and portability meaning you do work at home, the office or whilst travelling. You can use them to do everyday computing tasks such as browsing the web, checking emails, create and edit documents, run applications, watch movies and listen to music.

The Sony S Series 13 laptops are powered by Intel processors that range from Core i3 to the Core i5. The second generation of Intel processors have its own technology within inside it such as Hyper-Threading and Turbo Boost, which enables you to overclock the processor to a higher speed. The processor is monitored and its speed is adjusted according to the task you are doing.

The graphics inside the laptop will be either an Intel HD Graphics 3000 or nVidia GeForce GT 640M LE with 2GB Dedicated Memory card. The screen is a Sony 13.3-inch Display Plus and has a resolution of 1600 by 900 pixels. It will have between 4GB and 8GB of DDR3 RAM that makes these laptops run extremely quickly. Some models will have between 500GB and 750GB HDD and other models will have a 256GB SSD (Solid State Drive). There will be option of either having DVD Rewriter or a Blu-Ray depending on which model you buy.

It comes with the latest wireless networking features such as built in Wi-Fi (802.11 bgn) and 10/100/1000 Gigabit network card enabling you to access the internet on the move or in a stationary place.

There are number of connection ports including 1 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2-in-1 card reader for transferring your data between the laptop and your external devices. It has an HDMI port for connecting the laptop to an external display such as television. The integrated webcam and microphone is great for video conferencing or simply chat away to friends and family.

The battery life on this laptop is between 8 and 9 hours. The charge time is 2.5 hours meaning you will have your laptop back up and running in no time. It comes with Windows 7 Home Premium Edition 64-bit installed and a Sony 2 Year warranty in case there are any problems.
