Our Policy regarding LCD Pixel Faults

All of the products containing LCD displays sold on this site use Class II LCD panels. These panels adhere to the ISO 13406-2 standard which regulates the acceptability of defects and protects you, the customer. Todays production techniques cannot guarantee a completely fault free display so ISO 13406-2 recommends how many defects are acceptable in a display before it should be replaced within the terms anc conditions of warranty.

See below for the allowable number of malfunctioning pixels that are acceptable, depending on the native resolution of the LCD and allowing for 2 malfunctioning pixels per million pixels.
